Religious Education

As a Catholic School, Religious Education is at the heart of all that we learn and all that we do in St. Clare's. We follow the scheme of work provided by Liverpool Archdiocese which allows our children to EXPLORE, REVEAL and RESPOND to different religious themes and topics.

 

                                                          

 

 

This term we will be studying the three themes of Local Church (Special People), Eucharist (Meals) and Lent/Easter (Change) 

Our current topic is 'Change'

•  That we change and grow – Explore

•  Lent; a time to change in preparation for the celebration of Easter – Reveal

* Acquire the skills of assimilation, celebration and application of the above – Respond

Our first topic was Special People

During this topic we will looked at  - Special people in our lives that are there to help us.
                                                            -    Sunday, the day in church where we meet people who do special jobs as                                                                   we together to celebrate the Good News of Jesus.

                         *Acquiring the skills of assimilation, celebration and application of the above .
