History

Croxteth Hall visit - Victorian Christmas

Revolution

The children have been learning all about the Victorian era. They have studied the life of Queen Victoria. They have also learned about rich and poor lives in the Victorian era.

The children were very excited to discover that there used to be a workhouse on Smithdown road!

Over the coming weeks, our attention will shift onto the industrial revolution and the changes this brought to the country. We will also be discussing the impact these inventions have had on our lives today.

The Ancient Mayans

This half term, the children will be studying the Ancient Mayans as part of their Hola Mexico work. They will be focusing on their settlements and some of their ancient traditions.

The children formed expert groups to research the Ancient Mayan Civilisations
