 Marvellous Maths!

In Year 1 we have lots of fun in our Maths lessons and use lots of different resources to help us with our learning, including, numicon, multilink cubes and straws!!!!

Can you identify the numbers represented by the images?

We are currently learning to count forwards and backwards from 0 - 100.

But do numbers stop at 100? What is 1 more than 100? What comes after that?

Key Maths Vocabulary for Key Stage 1

In our maths lessons we will be using our Maths Passports to go on an adventures around the Globe to learn more and more about the wonderful world of MATHS!

Currently Year one are are visiting Wales before embarking on our travels to Northern Ireland,  Ireland and then on to EUROPE!

We will be focusing on all our basic number facts with addition and subtraction. This will help with our fluency in the mastery approach to the curriculum!
