What a transformation!
Our school has undergone a huge transformation over the summer holidays. Years 1, 3 and 6 have had their walls replastered, a new carpet and some much needed storage furniture. The classrooms were all re-painted with a calming light grey colour chosen and the cloakrooms have been relocated into the classrooms in a lovely storage unit.
The Year 2 classroom has been extended to provide vital extra space to what was a very cramped room! It is now spacious, light and airy! A pleasure to be in!
Year 4 & 5 have not been forgotten about, the classrooms have been re-painted in the same colour scheme as the rest of school but these rooms will be having the major work completed next summer.
Year 1 and 2 have had new sinks put in so the children can access drinking water in the classrooms. Their shared resource area and corridor has been repainted and a new vinyl floor has been put in to replace the rather old carpets that were there!
Our Key Stage 2 corridor was once dark and not very pleasant. We have had this area repainted which will now showcase the excellent work produced by the children.
Of course none of this would have been possible without the financial support of the Archdiocese and for this we are truly grateful.
