If your child displays any of the four symptoms of Coronavirus they must self isolate. You must book them in for a test and inform school of this as the reason for their absence: Temperature, Cough, Loss of Taste, Loss of Smell. Please also ensure you are wearing a face covering at all times whilst on school site. Thank you for your co-operation.

As a Catholic School, Religious Education is at the heart of all that we learn and all that we do in St. Clare's. We follow the scheme of work provided by Liverpool Archdiocese which allows our children to EXPLORE, REVEAL and RESPOND to different religious themes and topics.

Topic 3- Waiting

Advent is a time of waiting in joyful hope for Jesus; it encourages believers to wait for Christ who comes each day and who will come in a special way at the end of time.

Scripture: John 3:16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son.

Catechism of the Catholic Church 422: . . .‘But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son born of a woman . . .’ God has visited his people. He has fulfilled the promise made to Abraham and his descendents. He acted far beyond all expectation – he has sent his own ‘beloved Son’.
