Autumn Term 1 'Memory Box Topic' 

Year one children to be able to identify and discuss changes within living memory. This is particularly relevant for our pupils to develop home school links and use of spoken language. By using their families first hand life experiences this will encourage parents to engage in their child’s learning during their first topic at the start of a new class. 

 

To launch our new topic we had a 'Teddy Bears' picnic! This provided the children with an opportunity to discuss their favourite teddy bear and also share their families memories from their earliest experiences.
