Road Trip USA!

Skills

We will learn to use maps, atlas and globes to locate the USA. We will also learn to describe and understand key aspects of physical geography, including: climate zones, rivers, mountains and canyons. We will also learn to describe and understand aspects of human geography, including: types of settlement and land use.

Application of maths across the curriculum: Calculating distances of various journeys to and within the USA.

Application of English across the curriculum: writing diary entries and newspaper reports.

I am Warrior

This half term we have been learning all about the Romans, from their invasion of Britain to their lasting legacy. We have used our historical skills to research and discuss Roman lives and how they changed the shape of our country.
