Year 1 - Mrs Bowen, Mrs Jones, Miss King and Mrs Horrigan

Welcome to Year One!


Your teachers this year are Mrs Bowen (Monday-Wednesday) Mrs Jones (Wednesday-Fri) 

and your Learning Support Assistants are Miss King and Mrs Horrigan. 


Year One children arrival time is 8.50am and home time is 3.05pm on the Infant Yard. 


It is so lovely to meet you all and welcome you into our class.  We are looking forward to getting to know you all and your families and sharing lots of fun filled learning experiences together. 


Here is a handy list of the key weekly activities and what you need to bring to school each day:

Please watch one phonics video per day and encourage your child to segment and blend each of the phonemes. They can practise reading and writing their phonemes using the 'cvc word building activities' and 'picture and captions' activities attached in the English section below. 
Please click on the video link below and watch one maths video clip per day. The activities (worksheets) linked to each video can be found below.  These can be printed and completed or can be displayed on the screen and pupils complete using paper at home.
