Topic

Anglo-Saxons and Vikings!

L.O. -  I can explain when and where the Vikings came from and say why they raided Britain.

Hello Year 4!
We are onto one of my favourite topics – Viking Raiders and Anglo-Saxons!

Today you will be introduced to the Viking raiders in Britain – I can’t wait to hear what you think about them.

Challenge yourself!

Can you write three questions you would like to ask the Vikings and three questions you would like to ask the Anglo-Saxon King? What do you think they might reply? Why?

Art

This week I thought it would be nice to do some observational drawing using what we have around us.

In Science we are learning about the life cycle of a tree so I would like you to practice sketching trees, leaves or animals you have around you. Alternatively, you could research different types of trees on you computer and use the images to create your masterpiece!

Use the skills we have already learnt to complete the image with shading or maybe add some colour!

I can't wait to see what you produce!
